Mailing Items to Your Home Address
Drake Memorial Library recognizes that not all students can come to campus on a regular basis. At this time, graduate students have the option to have requested items mailed to their home address. This includes both items owned by Drake and items borrowed from other libraries. Items will be shipped to you with a return label so you can return the items to us at no cost. Return shipping instructions can be found at the bottom of this page.
Before requesting any items, please use the below FAQ to verify that the library has your correct mailing address in our library and interlibrary loan systems.
Returning Items
Return packaging, a pre-paid return shipping label, and return instructions will be included with your requested item.
When your item is due:
- Place the item in the return envelope and make sure the return shipping label is securely attached. Tape over the seal of the envelope to ensure it is securely closed.
- Take your item to your nearest USPS location or USPS collection box. Use the USPS website to find your nearest location.
- Do not take the item to UPS or FedEx. The return shipping is only used for USPS.
- Send us an email at ill@brockport.edu to let us know the item is on its way back to us.
- When we receive and process the return, you'll get an email saying the item was returned.
