Refining Your Writing
1. Your first draft should not be your last.
2. For any writing project you should expect to polish your draft numerous times. After each writing session it is best to set it aside for a brief period of time before attempting to polish and edit it again.
3. Take a critical objective approach looking for what might be wrong as opposed to what is right about it.
4. This type of a self evaluation process can be very helpful in reviewing and polishing your work.
