SUNY Libraries

All SUNY students and faculty are welcome to use the library and library services of any SUNY campus. You will need your campus ID to access these privileges.

In addition, the following public libraries offer a generous amount of online materials:

New York Public Library

New York residents ages 13 and older can get a digital library card through an online card application
 and gain access to an array of digital resources.

The Monroe County Library System

Register for a MCLS E-Card, which provides access to digital collections only. Digital collections include downloadable e-books, audiobooks and videos as well as research databases.

Rochester Public Library

A member of the MCLS, the Rochester Public Library contains the Local History & Genealogy section.  Highlights include Rochester Voices, Archive of Black History & Culture, Special Collections: Hidden Treasures   

Internet Archive

The Internet Archive is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, websites, and more.
