As I walk nervously home from the night shift, I see someone sitting on the bench in front of me; as I swiftly move past the bench and look behind me, I see the person is still there. With relief I begin to look forward to continue my journey, that is until someone covers my mouth and snatcheme from the front. |

Grandmother's house was always cozy in that way that makes you want to wrap yourself in a sweater, eat a bowl of stew and listen to npr radio. It was the kind of cozy that almost made you forget about your troubles, the daily anxieties, and the shadows on the wall that didn't seem to belong to anyone or anything at all. |
