I need to find articles. (Databases)
The following databases have both full text articles and citations to articles that you can then get through interlibrary loan (ILL).
- Literature Resource Center * Good place to start for background information about an author and their work.
* Not all articles are from scholarly/peer-reviewed journals. - JSTOR Full-text scholarly articles; most are at least 3 years ago.
- MLA International Bibliography The best database for advanced research but be careful:
* It also includes chapters from books and dissertations.
* Some titles are full-text, but many titles need to be requested through interlibrary loan (ILL) and are difficult to get. - Humanities International Complete Another good source for literature research, including scholarly journal articles, both full-text and ones you need to get through interlibrary loan.
- Academic Search Complete * A good starting point for any research.
* Includes many peer-reviewed literary journals - Project MUSE - Humanities Collection Provides full-text scholarly articles for years that are more current than JSTOR.
