Finding Articles

  • Academic Search Complete
    Articles on a wide range of topics, including many excellent criminal justice titles. From this can also easily access many related databases on business, education, military etc.
  • General OneFile
    General purpose, has some police titles etc. not in Academic Search.
  • Lexis
    Our biggest newspaper source, both US and foreign, and law journals too. Is a major legal resource too of course, for code and case law. See the the legal research tab in this guide.
  • JSTOR
    Major social science journals. 100+ years worth - note, no recent articles, all is 3+ years old.
  • Criminal Justice Abstracts  
      
    Contains a variety of sources, but you will need to use the Search for Full Text button to obtain the article.
