    Full-text database with thousands of peer-reviewed journals.
  • BioOne  
      
    Contains full-text bioscience research journals and covers the fields of ecology and evolution.
  • American Society of Microbiology
    Searchable database with full-text access to journals in microbiology.
  • HighWire Press  
      
    Large database of peer-reviewed journals with many titles in the life sciences
  • JSTOR  
      
    JSTOR has almost 200 biology journals, but it does not contain RECENT issues (usually not the past 3 to 5 years).
  • GreenFILE  
      
    Indexes scholarly and general interest titles, government documents and reports on the effects humans have on the environment.
  • Birds of North America Online  
      
    Covers the life histories of North American birds. Contains species information, additional references, and galleries of image, video, and sound.
  • Cell Press Free Archives

My EBSCOhost is a feature of EBSCO databases that allows you to save your searches and articles for future access. To sign up for this feature, click "Sign In to MY EBSCOhost", at the top right of the screen from any page within an EBSCOhost database.

General databases (not subject-specific)

  • Academic Search Complete  
      
    A good starting point for all types of research.
    Limit to peer-reviewed (scholarly) articles by checking the box in the search screen.
  • Academic OneFile  
      
    Another database containing articles in almost any subject.
    To limit results to scholarly articles, click on the "Limit Results" to peer-reviewed publications.
